Top 10 Things About A Weekend in the Hamptons

10. Playing grab ass with your old college roommate like its the most natural thing in the world (see above). Bar hopping with men who look more polished than the women in our crew? Weird.

9. Beer pong on a deck with a view of the beautiful, deserted Long Island Sound. And winning beer pong with Janette, the girl who can skin a deer and run marathons.

8. Witnessing the actual Jitney on the drive through East Hampton and seeing a girl that looked just like Carrie Bradshaw in line, waiting for it! Score!

7. Walking the beach in a Red Sox cap and not being harrassed once! Esp when the Sox lose miserably to the Yanks all wkd long.

6. Waves so big they crash over your head. The water was warm and an amazing blue-green hue. And the jellyfish who didnt sting us. Thank you!

5. Driving onto the beach after bar-hopping in a Ford Expedition the size of Amtrak.

4. Trying sushi for the second time because everyone claims I'd love it and having to run downstairs in the fancy restaurant to the bathrooms in order to spit it out, gag a thousand times and almost throw up. If you tell me I'd like it one more time, I will lay you out.

3. Making pina coladas with barely any ice at all, strawberries, liquid coconut syrup, Bacardi, milk, premade mix and a dash of Grey Goose.

2. Enjoying the longest winning streak as President in a good old traditional game of asshole.

1. Taking 395 to New London to get on the Cross Sound Ferry (2 hours). Loading the Cross Sound Ferry (1 hour). Riding the Cross Sound Ferry (1 and 1/2 hours). Unloading the Cross Sound Ferry (1 hour). Driving thru the most beautiful wine country since Napa Valley (1 hour) to Shelter Island. Taking the South Shelter Island Ferry (10 minutes). Driving thru Shelter Island (15 minutes). Taking the North Shelter Island Ferry (10 minutes). Driving thru Sag Harbor and the East Hamptons (1 hour). Arriving in Montauk to hit the beach with awesome friends from college... PRICELESS.

It was a great wkd. I cant wait to do it again next year. MUAH, K!
