This list includes pretty much everything I buy. And I can barely afford regular groceries nowadays, nevermind organic ones. Can't wait for the Farmers Markets to start up again. But in the meantime, its good to know I'm a walking pesticide.
Also, my workstudy is an environmental science major and she tells me almost daily about things that are harmful to you.
For example, non-stick pans? Don't use em. If you must, only use them on less than medium high heat, or cancer-causing toxins will seep into your food. Best to go with cast iron or copper.
Another gem? Always buy "naturally" decaf beans and coffee. Otherwise, the chemicals they put into regular to make it "decaf" can harm your nervous system.
Yay! Big business knows best.

yeah dude. everything is contaminated. but i strongly feel that while it is important to buy organic when possible and eat NO trans-fats, keeping your brain un-contaminated with stress is also Super Important. (Kind Of Like you mentioned in one of your recent posts) And buying organics at the normal grocery blows...we will have to go to whole foods one of these sundays...and to amherst farmers market!!! the best in the land...
